So glad that your daughter and granddaughter are able to spend this separation with you, tc. It can be quite difficult, but having family around helps so much.

Ft. Sill has deployed a large number of troops over the past few months. I have several good friends that are going through the same situation as your DD right now. Every kind thought and prayer sent their way seems to help.

Sorry I didn't see your thread until now. You better believe all your Dis friends care and are always here for you!!

I will surely add your soldier, Chris, to my prayer list for a safe and successful deployment. I know it will be a challenging year for everyone with Chris away, and Kimmi is so very fortunate to have a loving family to help her during this time. How wonderful they are home and you will be able to help with little cutie 'Princess Ireland' . Again, congrats on another blessing on the way!! Chris should get a break half way thru, so hopefully it will be in just in time for the new little one in March!!!

So, is it snowing in your area? As you know, our soldier and family are happily settled in Colorado Spgs now and enjoying life being together once again. Last word we heard, they were expecting 18" snow?! If true, I'm sure he will update us tomorrow with pics.

I didn't realize they were expecting another. Congratulations!

I'm praying for him and for your family. I know this has to be really hard on all of you. I can't imagine being pregnant without my DH around. (He probably fantasizes about it, though, LOL.)

I'm sorry to hear that Chris has deployed but congrats on grandbaby #2. If Kimmi has any questions regarding the deployment in general tell her to email me. Though my dh isn't anywhere near Chris's unit I can explain how general things work about the deployment.

One other thing Kelli, take out where Chris is in Kuwait. OPSEC (operation security) is very important and the internet or the Dis doesn't need to know where he is. They will pray for him no mattter what. Take care and if any of you need anything I will try to help in anyway I can.
