My Shares have been Sold!

Just got a letter today saying that my shares have been sold. They say they sent me a letter a while ago asking if I wanted them changed to something else but I definitely have had no such letter.

The help line number in the letter is constantly busy.

Any ideas what I can do.

Would it be worth going back to whoever you bought your shares through? Are they offering you any compensation? Sounds very unfair - why not contact Euro Disney SCA direct at http://www.eurodisney.com/en/0420.php, and see if they can offer advice!!

Sorry to hear about the problem with your shares.
Where did you buy them ?
We haven't heard anything about our shares , so hope nobody has sold them.

All shares were being delisted on the London stock Exchange (LSE) and are only now traded on the Paris Stock Exchange (PSE).

I'd suggest go back to your broker/bank where you purchased them from.
Square Gain who I purchased through had original bought from PSE so I was spared the dilema of the transfer.

Really sorry to hear that Diana. I had bought mine through Nationwide and they were listed on the London stock exchange. I had a letter in July from the UK registrars, think they were called Computershare, and I had a choice of either paying an admin fee of approx £23 to have them changed for ones listed on the Paris stock exchange or to sell them. The deadline was sometime in October, I think. I paid to have them changed to the Paris SE and received a new share certificate. If they did not hear from you they would just sell them and send you the proceeds. Looks like this is what has happened to you. Did you not hear anything from the Shareholders club themselves? I received a letter from them advising that all this was going to happen, prior to receiving the letter with the choice of options from Computershare. Have you moved address or been having trouble with your mail? If it were me, I would certainly take this up with someone.

DH has just opened his mail. Our shares have been sold too !!!!! We certainly had no letter from Computershare or anyone else for that matter until we had this one today.

Yes our letter was from Computershare and this is the first we've heard of it. Certainly no letter in July.

I would love to take this up with someone - but who?
