Here is what I have for window decorations:

Set of princess window clings
Set of Pooh window clings
Sign to put on the door
Captain Jack & Davy Jones for ledge
Winnie the Pooh for ledge

I'm going to try and find our Mickey Halloween window clings too since we are going during MNSSHP.

I also got my 2 books from Amazon today:

Guide to the Magic The Lost Journals &
Guide to the Magic Journal

I am ready to start packing now.

I don't think that I would be able to pull off a surprise on my kids again. They are way too nosey.

The window clings were at the Dollar Tree store. I was so excited to find them! I keep looking for Halloween ones but can't find them.

The journal is really cool. It has a place to list rides and ratings, where you eat and what you have, souveniers bought and what you thought of the day. We used the passporter journal last year which was really good but I don't need all the info again so went with this one instead. The Lost Journals is cool too. It has sections for each part of all the parks (ie Toontown, Fantasyland, Main Street etc) and each section has pictures of things you are supposed to find, answers to questions about things in that part and a list of hidden mickeys. I am looking forward to using it too.

My DS is totally nosey and thinks he knows whats going on but I think he will be completly surprised! At least I hope so. It has been so hard though keeping it to myself.

WOW!!! Window Clings!!!
What a good idea!! Now I can't wait to go check out our local Dollar Tree!!!!
It would drive my family crazy but if I had my way I would decorate the entire room!!
I can't go right now because I have to do this: (sigh)

And another thing:
I don't know if ya'll are interested but if you go to the Dollar Tree they have the Glow in the Dark thingys for a $1 (of course ). And they are pretty good. So we are going to bring a bunch to use during the fireworks at the parks and maybe at the Glow party at POP on Sept. 22nd. Ya'll should check it out.

Anyway thanks for posting that!!!!

Well I have managed to keep the secret! Amazing.

We are leaving around noon tomorrow and I have still not said a word. I am going to pick him up at school and tell him we are doing a quick four day trip to Tampa to pick up my parents. He thinks they drove their RV down there already to leave for the winter. So I will pick him up and tell him that we are heading down tomorrow and coming back Monday. When we get to Orlando and close to the resort I am going to say Grandma and Grandpa are going to have to wait...WE'RE GOING TO DISNEY FIRST!! I can't wait to see his face.

I have almost all the packing done and the dryer just got done so I can finish up. I am so ready to start this trip and can't wait till Saturday afternoon. Maybe I will find some DISer while I am there.

I'm almost off.

Just found this pre-TR and it is great.

I love surprises! Last year we surprised our kids and it was sssooooo much fun but like you said, very hard to keep the secret. I could hardly stand it. As the time got closer I was about to bust. I almost blew it about a million times. It was so much fun though.

Make sure you take lots of pictures...I can't wait to see his face when you reveal the surprise.

I just wanted to wish you a great trip. I'll be looking forward to you TR!

Thanks for reading. I am about ready to burst right now! Just a couple hours till we leave and one day till he finds out!

I am hoping to make a few other surprises too. I don't plan on telling him my parents are coming till we go to meet them on Thursday. I am also not telling him about MNSSHP. It's going to be a fun week!

Ok this is it. I am all packed. I made detailed lists for myself and everything is checked off. I think I am really ready to head out. I just have to wait a few hours. I am going to go into work for a while and get the payroll stuff done and hopefully time will fly by and it will be time to go before I know it. Hi Beth,

Just found your PTR, and I applaud you in doing a 2nd WDW suprise trip, ah the suspense....


We (DH and I) pulled off the mega suprise on our then turning 6 year old twins and 2 1/2 yr too with a week + stay at the World back in 05. Man it was stuff, packing clothes and hiding suticases under our bed "what are you doing in there Mama?" secretly arranging a week off a school, and then having family come at separate intervals to celebrate their birthday with us...it was tough but so worth it. Hope your suprise goes off with a hitch.
