I didn't get a picture of my first two (ended up making two because I misjudged how much fabric it would take so had enough put together for two blocks). But, this was my second set of almost-done blocks. I haven't decided entirely what I'm going to do with them yet, but I think this is the layout I'm going to use. :)

I think I have a new addiction (like I needed another one  ;) )

Thanks for the photo! That looks very pretty. You are inspiring me to get started on a quilt for our guest bedroom and one for my sister. Need to get that measuring tape out and pick a color scheme.

Hope we get to see some updates as your quilt progresses!

I only have one word when it comes to arranging my quilt blocks!

PLAY!!!!! I arrange, re-arrange & re-arrange again before I decide! hahaha But it's sooooo much fun!

I'm addicted to fabric & quilting & not ashamed to admit it! hahaha

Cowgirl -- I'm just glad that a friend suggested making a piecing wall out of the felt. It's making it so much easier to play with and visualize. :) All I have right now is a big piece of felt thrown over the closet door, but that's working so far without putting any holes in my wall ;) Of course, that means that right now I'm limited to the width of the door for laying out...

Those felt walls are the cat's meow for sure!!! I have two felt walls I taped to my walls in my hallway. Would be lost without them!

Now I need to figure out the best way to attach it to the *wall* so I can get more width out of my felt working area. It's *amazing* how those things work! I didn't believe it, but just placing my pieces against the felt has kept them there for almost 3 days now. I expected at least one part to have fallen by now, but it hasn't.

If you have a wall you can leave it on permanently use double stick carpet tape. You can get it at Wal Mart, Lowes, etc. It is very strong tape & will hold it nicely. Justr remember to leave the fuzziest side out to put your quilt pieces on. If they have to stay up for a long time just use straight pins to keep them on the felt. If you put the felt on a wall where you may have to take it down now & then try push pins. They make small holes & can be filled easily. Also another way to do it is to adhere the felt to heavy duty cardboard. Two large pieces so it can be folded like a book & slid under your bed... works great. Plus it can be free-standing while you use it!
