Hi all.

I just noticed that my review of Saratoga Springs Resort is up on allearsnet.
If I knew how to place a link, I would!

I need to also say, you never know how much you miss the internet until you don't have regular access to it!
We just did a PCS (military) move, not in our house yet.
We have been living in military lodging for a month now, and expect another month until we can get in our house.
I really miss our stuff!!!!

It is strange having to rely on free community center computers, but boy am I glad to have it available.
Trying to get my fix of the DIS right now! Takes my mind off things. I have so much to catch up on!

Any rate, my review doesn't say too much more than I had said here on this board, but I hope it helps someone in their decision making.

I love Maine (although I live in Maryland) - it is a beautiful state, and I really like the people I have met...very down to earth folks. We visit there several times a year, and I have made a few friends. Sandie B

Thanks for the encouraging words.

We have found that the people here are very down to earth, welcoming and friendly.
In fact, I think the state motto should be changed.
From "Vacationland" to "Friendliest People, Hands Down"

Pumpkinboy, don't scare me about the winters! I hear conflicting reports, either it's not that bad or it is that bad.

At any rate, I hope my report helps. I may submit an update once the construction at SSR is over, I want to see if my initial feelings ring true.

Hi,

We too, just did a PCS move. Just got the internet up.....it took long enough. It's been such a rough move (we had to do everything on our own in a foreign country, and we don't speak the language well). I NEVER want to go through that again!!!

Anyway, because the move has been horrible, we're off to DW
in 23 days!!! We decided we needed to visit the Happiest Place
on Earth. Hopefully, you will be able to do the same once you get into your house. We know what you're going through. Hang in there.
