We just got back from the Sunterra Polynesian Isles. We had it for a week but only stayed about 4 nights. I had booked a Disney resort as well just in case we didn't like the condo. I thought I would post some info because I know a lot of people haven't stayed here. We had only paid $222 thru Skyauction and we were very impressed. It was our first time staying off Disney and in a condo and we definitely loved it. It was also our first time using Skyauction. It was a 2 BR. One bedroom had a king bed and the other had 2 twin beds. There were also 2 bathrooms. One had a jacuzzi tub and was a huge bathroom. The dining room table was beautifully set. We don't cook on vacation though so we didn't use it!!!! It is kind of a quiet resort. No snack bars or drink bars. I really miss that because as I said we don't like to cook or eat in on vacation so I did miss being able to walk to get a snack or drink. There was a playground and a basketball court that we used one day. We didn't use the pools but we did use the hot tubs a couple of times. We were there on Halloween but we didn't participate in the trick or treating. My husband also used the computers that they had to check his email. It was $5 a day(only did it one day) We never did get to check out the fitness center. We were called in the room a couple of times for the timeshare presentation. We aren't good at saying no so I kept telling her that I would think about it. They also asked us about it after we checked in. Next time I will know not to answer the phone!!! We had a rental car which I think you would definitely need if you stayed here. It was very quiet and we didn't see anybody at the pools or playground so it is definitely a relaxing place to stay. There was also a screened in balcony to sit and relax at night. There is a washer and dryer outside the unit(has to be shared with the unit next door) We were on the 3rd floor but it wasn't too bad of a walk!!! Well, I guess that is all for now!!!!
P.S. I think we may try Vistana next year though(even though we loved the PI) just because we like the restaurants, bar, and more resort activities. So, I am sure I will be asking lots of questions about Vistana later on!!!
Thanks,
Kim
