We ate at...

ESPN Zone, walked in, the place was empty, the food was just ok but very pricey for what you get. We had burgers, I thought it was a little dry. Pobably wouldn't eat there again.

House of Blues, we had a restaurant.com gift certificate. The service was fine and did not feel discriminated against for using a coupon as some have expressed. My Dagwood sandwhich had alot of great flavor but was dry. My husband had the Chicken fried chicken and it was really good. We sat outside with a large group of us and enjoyed the whole evening.

Goofy's Kitchen, we had reservations ahead and arrived 25 min. early and were seated right away. They took us to a table and there was really loud construction going on right outside the covered up windows. The waiter noticed that we were not happy about that and moved us to another room with no problem. I do not like buffets but I felt the food here was REALLY good and alot to choose from. We have ate at Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's in WDW and I think this was way better food wise. But I really felt the characters were lacking. We had Snow White, Dale, Pluto and Baloo. Goofy was only at the door to get pictures. For the expensive price I didn't feel like we got our money's worth with the characters. As mentioned before we have been to 2 Character meals at WDW and the character interaction were WAY better aat WDW.

After the previous experience we cancelled our breakfast at Ariels Grotto.

Carnation Cafe, we ate there twice it was so good, everyone here who recommended it was spot on, the Baked potato soup was to die for! The sandwhices & salads were good too!

Mimi's cafe, the food was pretty good but the calories next to everything scared me away from ordering most of the good sounding stuff.

Pacific Wharf Cafe, the broccoli cheese bread bowl was pretty good but they dont put enough in it!

The Mexican restaurant in DTD (forgot name)was pretty good, lot's of food and good Margaretas!

Blue Bayou, we loved this. My husband and I did a split plate of the strip steak and it was definitely enough food and it tasted great. The salad was huge and delicious (we each got our own) and it came with potatoes and green beans and rolls. We didn't get a close water view but about 1 row back. So I think the atmosphere would have been better if we had. The server was great and the experience was enjoyable.

Cafe Orleans, My husband, daughter & I shared a Monte Cristo, Pomme Frittes, Gumbo and Onion Soup. The Monte Cristo tasted really good but it was too rich for me, I could only eat a couple bites but my daughter loved it. The Gumbo was really spicy but I liked it. My husband enjoyed the Onion soup but the star of the show was the Pomme Frittes, I would go back for those alone, they were fabulous.

Snacks I tried..... Dole Whip Float,It was pretty good I thought but not my favorite.
Churro, I liked it alot, am craving it now.
Various chocolate treats & ice cream all delicious!!!

I will try to figure out how to post some of the food pics soon! Thank you everyone foer all the recommendations.:lovestruc

Thanks for sharing the dining report. Your report was helpful since we haven't been to most of these places.

California has a regulation that they need to have all nutrition information available :) I usually go to mimi's and fill up on a muffin :)
