I was going to join about 2 1/2 years ago. filled out all the paperwork, changed it a few times, then had to cancel. Last year i called my rep while in florida to get more info again, but did not join, Now i want to join. I called my rep and left 4 messages now and no call back yet at all. Should i just call dvc and ask for a new rep and start over again. I want all the info to join, price, downpayment, terms, etc, and will probably join this time so i can use the points for the trip this year if i can.

My advice would be to call the 18008009100 number and ask for a new rep. Someone that has been with dvc for awhile. I had an issue with my old rep. and took this approach. I now have Patti Douglas and she is great!! Her number is 18008277143. If you are ready to buy, then get someone on the ball!! She returns calls quickly, even at 8/9 at night!! She definitely goes out of the way. And if she is away or off for a couple of days, it is always on her voice mail. Good luck!!!

I had the same problem a couple of years ago trying to do an add on just before a price increase. I finally demanded to speak to any guide as mine was not returning calls. Another guide took my order and the next day our guide called and left a long appology message. The original guide took care of all the paper work and from there on returned calls promptly. My guess is he got spoken to.

Yes - get someone new.

If your sure your ready to join, I would try one my time and say I'm ready to really do it!!!! Maybe they are away, or who knows, but let them know your serious this time!

If it were me, yes...I would. I actually was assigned to a guide after mine left and he was very high pressure....I didn't like that!! I was given a recommendation for Bernard L. and so I just called his number directly and begged him to take me on  He is great...sends out information, calls me back if I call, and when we are in Fl he leaves voicemails for us too :teeth: just to make sure we are enjoying ourselves.

So after having a guide like him I would certainly not tolerate a guide that can't return a phone call!! :jester:

Unless you are a member you do not have a rep. After cancelling two times already and using the word probably when talking about joining again, I would ask for someone else. Someone that knows you may not want to go down that road with you again. These people are salesman, they make their living by selling to someone. I would make up my mind about buying before you call. they may have you red flagged already, not to bother to call back.

Id agree with Pa@okw. In these commercial times whether rightly or wrongly people work to make money. When ever I call my guide she is busy ( but always speaks to me ) selling another contract.

Especially with the new rates going up in April they will be trying to process as many people as possible.

Why not ask on here what you need to know...... make your mind up and then ring and say " sell me x points" If it was me I would give the guide you had one last chance as he did do all the original legwork!!

If it was me and I was really busy and I had the option of phoning back a new potential customer or phoning someone that had been through the system twice already ...I know who I'd phone !!!:) lol
