My Renewed Shareholders Card Came!

Thought I'ld share the news, as I'm sure many of you lot can understand the joy of FINALLY seeing that card come though the door!

I totally forgot I had to renew last year, somehow I had managed to get a discount with my expired card at the Disney Store over Christmas (I genuinely had not checked the date till afterwards, oops) - But thankfully I noticed with months to go before our April trip.

Mum's spent weeks worrying about the card showing up. So thankfully thats over, and I can continue to enjoy my benefits : )

My first card came yesterday! The only issue is the name is reversed, i.e. it says (the equivalent of) "Mr Smith John" not "Mr John Smith".

I presume this is an error and not how they normally do it? Does it matter?

I renewed my Shareholder Club membership in January 2011 but my card never arrived. I sent them an email last year when it looked like another trip could had been in the air but they just sent me a temporary two months paper and nothing else arrived.

After i have read your post i have sent them another email - will see what they say

don't be afraid to call the shareholder club staff, they have always been very helpful when I've called them about my card etc.

That's how it is in France - Your surname is always first followed by your first name

Gets fun on your bank cards when you have 2 surnames as there is only space for 2 letters of my first name

Also how much is it? How do you get it? And is it worth it?

Put simply, if you buy Disneyland Paris shares, you can join the shareholders club and benefit from savings in the park.

I renewed ours a couple of weeks ago so about 8 weeks before we travel. I hope it makes it in time! I thought 6 weeks was the est wait time :-o The temp card isn't quite the same
