Hi all, just back from the World. Here are my reviews, and oh yea, we had the dining plan.
Day 1:
POFQ Food Court: Grade: B
~chicken quesidilla
~chicken wrap
Kids:~chicken nuggets (Horrible)
Chef Mickey's: Grade: B
Food was Ok, parm mashed potato's, excellent. Kids loved the sundae bar.
Atmosphere was ok, we were stuck in a corner in the back, so we missed out on a lot. Would return again
Day 2:
Pecos Bill: Grade: B
~Burger W/Fixins...yummy
~Chicken wrap...ok
Kids: ~Beans and Franks...ok
~chilled chicken...good
Chocolate cake for all.
Liberty Tree Tavern: Grade: B
Food was ok, got cold really quick and our server was MIA most of the time.
Character interaction was Excellent, came by at least twice.
Would not return again.
Day 3:
Studio Catering Co.: Grade: B+
~Hot Dogs...huge and good Chocolate cake for all.
Kids: Chicken wraps...very good
Chocolate cake for all.
We actually switched the kids and adult meals, they got hot dogs, we had the wraps.
Sci Fi Dine In: Grade A-
Aps:Onion Rings (very good), Spinach dip ( ok )
Kids Aps: Apples, grapes, cheese (very fresh, very good), Celery, carrots and ranch dip (also fresh and good)
~Bacon Cheeseburger with all the trimmings (Excellent)
~Ribs with Fries (Good)
Kids: Mac n Cheese (ok), Cheeseburger and fries (Very Good)
Dessert: Hot fudge sundae (good), Milk Shakes (Very good)
Kids Dessert: Sundae's with sprinkles (good)
Would definitely return.
Day 4:
Flame Tree BBQ: Grade B
1/2 Chicken with Corn and Beans (good)
Pork Sammy with Corn and Beans (Really good)
Kids: Hot dogs with Applesauce and Corn (good)
Dessert: Frozen lemonade's for all
Concorse Steakhous: Grade: C-
Appetizers: Onion Rings (good), Salad (good)
Kids Ap's: Salad (good)
Filet with mashers (ok, not cooked as ordered, not much flavor)
Prime Rib with Baked Potato (horrible, had to send back)
Dessert: Creme Brulee (yuck), Carrot cake (good)
Kids Dessert: Paint your own cookie. (loved the painting, cookie was gross)
*this was by far our worst meal. Service was horrible, and they even tried to charge us for the prime rib. We had 3 bites and then without notifying us, they charged us,then the server said that we ate over 1/2 of it. She was not very helpful or nice. This is where I think we were kind of discriminated because of the dining plan. Little did she know that were tipping generously out of pocket in addition to our added gratuity when it was warrented. I think she was just trying to boost her check. We will not be returning.
Day 5:
Columbia Harbour House Grade: B+
Starboard Deck Sandwich with fries (really good)
Fried Fish with French Fries (also really, really good)
Kids: chilled chicken with cheese (good)
Mac n cheese (the usual, ok)
Dessert: Apple pie and chocolate cake
1900 Park Fare: Grade: B-
Food was good, especially the prime rib and the fresh cooked shrimp and pasta with asparagus, yummy. Also, a really good cold brocoli salad with bacon. Desserts were good too. Fresh banana's foster and mini cheesecakes and key lime tarts. Character interaction was poor. Cinderella took 1 hour and 45 minutes to come to our table. When we inquired, we were told that she was going to have to work her way back to our section and that would take even longer. When we said we couldn't wait, they made a special trip and we got to see her. It was a hassle, and the kids were really ansy. I would not return to this restaurant.
Day 5:
Typhoon Tilly's; Grade: C
Hot dogs and Chips (food was cold)
Tuna Sammy (ok, pre-made, not very fresh)
Kids: Pb&J (ok)
Dessert: Cookies (good)
Not on the dining plan, but I have to mention the TO DIE FOR DONUTS
We had about 3 dozen or so of these babies (I am embarassed to say)
A must if you visit TL.
Ohana's Grade: A
Food was very fresh, hot, and good! We loved everything about this place. The atmosphere, the kids games, the view. It was by far our best meal. The shrimp and chicken wings were excellent. We loved that they bring hot towels to wash your hands. The service was excellent and we will defintiely be returning.
That's it for my dining reviews. Please let me know if I can answer any questions about any of my experiences.
