My psychiatrist* called me a six year old for knowing how many days till my next trip to a Disney Park and how many since my last. But he back peddled and said “that’s a good thing. Don’t let anyone try and change you.” He then went on to call me a “Mouseketeer”. Which is fine. I asked if that was his perfessional opinion.

*I see one monthly due to a head injury earlier this year, which caused 4 months of memory loss (amnesia - like a soap) – just to make sure I am still symptom free.

It must have been traumatic, I have a close friend who has a brain injury from a motorcyle accident and struggles everyday.

Now if you look at my siggy you will see how I understand the need to have therapy. For your doc to belittle something that gives you pleasure is just plain inconsiderate. A six yr old? huhm maybe you should try behaving like one in his office! Stamp you feet and whine
