Morning Disbrides! As some of you know, I've been anxiously waiting for my proposal! We've been planning our Margaritaville Wedding and Disneymoon for two months already...but no proposal!
Me & DF decided from the start...we refuse to put start our new lives together in debt, so have been trying to pay cash for everything. Including the engagement ring!
Anyway, I knew my ring finely made it to my future groom (we ordered it from a designer in California), and I just knew he was going to tease me about it forever!
Anyway, Saturday, was a gorgeous fall day, so Gregg had planned for us to go for a ride in the Missouri wine country. We stopped at a couple of wineries and even ran into an Octoberfest, which was fun. Found some yummy wine too!
After our day doing the tourist thing, we decided to go to "our place", a steakhouse called "The Point", for dinner.
Finely, after a long beautiful day, and a nice quiet dinner, Gregg got onto one knee and proposed.
Beautiful ending to a beautiful day.
Anyway, without any further ado....here is my ring!!!
It's extra special because it represents a little of both of us...I'm from California, and Gregg is from New York. The designer of the ring is in California, and we ended up purchasing the diamond from New York. We thought that was kind of cool.
