My poor DH

My lovely DH fell on the stairs in our house on Sunday evening. He hit his hand hard on the railing, had some pain but thought it was just bruised. We went to work on Monday morning but he was struggling and couldn't write - kinda important as a teacher LOL. He had to persuade our headteacher to let him go to hospital ,as there was no-one to cover his class it was awkward. Eventually he got to go. Turn out, he's broken his hand! He has the most enormous plaster cast and bandaging. He has an appointment at the fracture clinic on Thursday so we're hoping he'll get a smaller cast then. He's in a bit of pain and I'm having to FORCE him to take painkillers.

He's so independent and hates to just sit around but he's finding it so hard to do stuff. It's his dominant hand too - right hand. We're also going on holiday on Saturday which involves a 4-5 hour drive to Yorkshire. I only ever drive my little car locally so I'm worried about having to drive down there.

Life's never dull, that's for sure!

Oh no your poor Dh - that is exactly what happened to my hubby 6 weeks ago, apart from he broke his knuckle!
