I woke up this morning with a HUGE headache! Yes the drinks did a number on me last night. Today we wanted to be at Typhoon Lagoon by opening well needless to say it didn't happen! Even though I didn't want to I got up and got ready to head to TL. We got there a little after 10:00 we grabbed a couple of chairs and put them under a tree. We left our stuff and headed out to the wave pool. We didn't stay very long because there were water slides calling our names. We headed to the family raft ride first we had a 30 minute wait for a ride that took less than a minute to go down. We didin't do that ride again. Then we went off to the storm slides the line moved very quickly so we did all three slides in a short amount of time. Since none of had any breakfast I decided we should go and have some lunch and hopefully I would feel better. We went back to our chairs ....I got a little angry when I came back to find a couple had taken it upon themselves to move our chairs out into the sun and then ended up taking our spots. I refrained from saying anything but I did move our chairs back up under the tree we just ended up setting very close to them. Roger and Ashlynne went off and got lunch after we were done eating I told Roger that he should take Ashlynne and so some more slides and I was gonna stay there and read and drink a lot of water to get ride of my headache. I got out my book and started reading and the next thing I know I look at the clock and it was 3 hrs later. I had fallen asleep thankfully I was in the shade and I had on lots of sunblock. I was pretty hot so I went back into the wave pool and cooled off then I went back to my chair and waited for Roger and Ash to decide they were ready to leave. They finally came back and said they had pretty much did every slide in the park.....I wasn't jealous at all I was happy to get that extra sleep. We left and headed back to the Poly. We changed and headed up to the lounge. I skipped the wine tonight but I had my usual cheese and fruit and I drank a lot of water
There was a big line tonight but it moved rather quickly and they always refill things. We were eating in the lounge and it started raining. I was kind of happy since I really had to desire to go into the parks tonight anyway. We went back to the room Roger uploaded all the digital pics onto the laptop, we checked email, watched a little TV but Roger couldn't stand it anylonger he had to get out of the room. We ended up going to the outlet mall. We didn't find anything in the Disney store I was shocked that I walked out of a Disney Store empty handed. We went to the Universal store and Roger bought a lot of Popeye stuff. I really wasn't into shopping so we headed back to the hotel.
When we got back to the room the stuff that I had bought in mousegear the other day was back so I was looking through it and I had purchased a Donald Duck X-mas ornament and it was broken into 3 pieces they didn't even try to wrap it. I went up to the Concierge desk and showed them The CM who helped me way Lucciano (sp) he pulled it out of the bad and saw that Donald had lost his head he was so funny but he called mousegear and they said they would send over a replacement. The CM told me to keep the broken Donald. I was happy that it was taken care of so quickly.
We then walked over to the GCH and picked up our Fairytale Package Artwork.....Roger loved it since Donald is his favorite. I wasn't expecting to get something as nice as we got so I was happy and now Donald will earn a place on the wall in our Hall O' Disney
We got back to the room and went to bed. Tonight mousekeeping arranged Ashlynne's stuffed animals when she did the turndown service it was very cute!
