I've belonged to MyPoints for several years now. I usually get several emails from them every day; many during the holiday shopping season. In a year's time I can usually accumulate 10K or so points without buying through their partner sites. Often I forget to link to the online shopping sites (like yesterday when I bought DH new jeans from Cabela's). That is how you really boost your point total.
