My plan and a couple of questions about AP's

Mornnig everyone.

I am thinking of taking my wife and children in early December (5 time )
Prices are looking a bit scary so far for November so I'm asuming it wont be much better for Dec.

My plan is to book at the Exlorers hotel or somewhere like that and get AP's.
Now I know some have blackout days and cant use them at the start of your holiday.
So I was thinking if I take my wife as a surprise for one day for her birthday in August I could buy AP's there and then for us 2 at least?

My questions if I may ?!

Can I buy AP's actually at Dlrp ?

The cheapest AP - can it be used on that day so I dont need to buy another park ticket for that day?

Do the have photo's on them?

Are they doing free under 7 AP's?

If I were to buy them for all the family (2 adults , 1child ,1 baby)
Would I need to 'use' them all the day me and my wife were there to deactivate for the no use on the 2nd and 3rd day? That way we can use them on all days on our next holiday?

Yes thats the main place to get them

The cheapest AP - can it be used on that day so I dont need to buy another park ticket for that day?

Yes they can all be used on day of purchase even if that day is a black out day. The 2 cheapest cannot be used on day 2 and 3 after first use

Yes they have photos on them

Are they doing free under 7 AP's?

Dont think so now

Under 3s cant get APs so you wont need one for baby but you all need to be present to buy them as they need the photo on so you cant collect one for your child and activate it yourself

Yes you can. If you are buying your entry tickets on the day you can go to Bureau Donald to the right of the gates. Tell them you want annual passes. They will give you a temporary pass which you will need to exchange at the Annual Passport office later in the day (there is often a wait in here - anything from 10 mins to an hour).

All APs are valid on the day you buy them. The cheapest passes you can't use the following 2 days. There are some blackout days in Nov and Dec so check the dates.

Yes. They take pictures in the Annual Passport office.

Not sure on that one I'm afraid.

I don't think so as long as they are all dated as starting the day you buy them, but I don't know if you can buy them for people who aren't there at the time of purchase.
