My Pirate shirt and question

I thought I would post a pic of the design I was using for my pirate shirts I am making. Well, it isn't really a design, not compared to all the great ones out there on the DISign boards!

So, does it need something? Color? Any comments are appreciated! Second, I was thinking of shrinking it down to do bottlecaps and put them on keychains for our cruise FE. Is there too much white for this to work?

Again, I love all of the designs out there, so I know you all have an eye for this. Any comments and suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

ETA: The cruise ones are perfect! I will do a few with "Mickey is my Co-Pirate" too, because I know that not everyone loves Donald the way that I do
