My PHPs haven't arrive yet: should I be worried?

My family will be leaving for WDW on Aug 8. I ordered PHP tickets from Alamo on June 12. They told me it takes 2-4 weeks to get the tickets USPS mail. We are getting closer to 4 weeks than we are to 2, and I'm getting concerned. If it turns out there is a problem, there won't be enough time to get the replacement tickets. WHY on earth do they send live tickets through the UNTRACEABLE USPS ?

Anyone who has ordered their tickets through Alama. please reassure me.

How were they sending them to you? Did they send them with a confirmation? Will you have to sign for them? did they give you a tracking number?

they were sending them US postal service. Of course, there's no tracking number with that. They did give me a confirmation and a phone number to call if I didn't get them when expected. I called the number last week and they told me they should be arriving any day. The funny thing is, when I talked to them, everything about the conversation made me feel like I was talking directly to Disney and not Alamo. Perhaps Alamo is just another portal for buying direct from Disney.

Anyway, I hate to be a nervous ninny, but I have what amounts to $1000 in negotiable currency floating around out there. Mostly, I'd like to hear from folks who have ordered from Alamo or direct from Disney to find out if a month is the avereage time to get your tickets. That would actually make me feel better, because if 2 weeks is the average, I have a problem.

Thanks all!

You were speaking directly to Disney and yes, a month is about right.
