I did post this on the CB but for those of you who don't go there here it is again.
It was around 7:45 Friday evening and there was frequent lightning to our northeast. My camera does not have any special features so I just stood there and hoped for the best.
I knew I got something on one of the shots but it wasn't until I came inside and looked at it on the computer that I realized it was the best image of lightning I've ever captured. I guess the Fox people thought so too because it was the nightly weather photo featured on the 10 p.m. news.
90% luck and 10% skill.
