My PC won't let me look at pop ups! Pls Help

Hi

I have turned off the pop up blocker but my PC still won't let me open certain websites.

i.e. I cannot open the smilies on this web site.
I can use the ones in the box, but I cannot clicl on 'more' to view all the smilies!

Been on Robbies website and as that is mostly based on pop up screens I cannot get to the log on bit.

If I have turned off my pop up blocker why are the pop up's still not working?

Have also added these sites to the bit where it says 'allow pop ups from these sites' but it's still not working!!

Its driving me potty!

Can anyone help!?

Do you have anything else installed that might be blocking popups such as the Google or Yahoo toolbars???

Hi,

All I can suggest is that you hold the ctrl key when you click on the blocked pop up, the ctrl key allows the pop up to be viewed.

I can't help you otherwise as this works for me.

I have a similar problem, I can open my smilies OK, but I can't open my PM pop-ups, and only yesterday my daughter told me about holding the ctrl key down at the same time - and sure enough it worked

I have the same problem, and the ctrl key tip works for me too
