UGGGHHH!! I am so disgusted with myself. Since starting this new job, I have found that there are plenty of snacks around and and I get to sit down quite a bit during that day. I've gained at LEAST 15 pounds since the holidays....at least, that's how it feels. My pants are so tight I can't breathe. I have a very important wedding I'm supposed to go to in March...I need help and or info on how to lose some of this excess weight! :(

STEPH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear, I was coming on WISH just now to post the same exact thing!
NONE OF MY PANTS FIT EITHER!!!!
I tried them on today and literally could not wear them! All for one pair my strechties of course, just barely fit!
Reality has set in, I have been on my TM twice today and have NOT CHEATED!
keep me posted on your situation!

Ugh, it is really aggrivating!! It's one of those situations where you see everyone snacking, so you snack right along. BLECH! I hope to God I lose this weight...I'm going to try my hardest...but it's still very difficult!!

I'm also in the "my pants don't fit me" club. It was my nieces 21st birthday party on Sat. When I went to find something to wear earlier in the week, I found that most of my clothes were too tight for me. As a result I had to go and buy something to wear in a bigger size! :sad2: Anyway that really kicked me back into reality!

I am right there with you in the pants don't fit. I have no dress pants that I can wear to church during those cold Sunday mornings. I am working hard on the TM and staying OP, so hopefully I can get my butt and thighs in them soon.

We can all do this together and just knowing that we aren't alone in this place is a true inspiration and help.

Keep healthy snacks for yourself. Have a little bit of what they're having so you don't feel deprived, but then have something else to turn to when you feel the need to go back.

Or, chew gum. I find that with a piece of mint gum in my mouth, I'm a lot less likely to endulge.

The first part of my username is NOT a coincidence. I AM Snacky.

For me the worst time is at night. I'm not hungry, I'm just...well, snacky! :)

I lost 16lbs since Thanksgiving by cutting out sodium, drinking a gallon of water a day, and only eating red meat once every other week. The hardest part was cutting out the sodium because it's been so cold and perfect soup weather. So I make my own with reduced sodium broth

I've not been able to exercise so I am on weight gain paranoia--I am following south beach priniciples....and avoiding the sugar. Though I did have a cup of tomato soup today and it had high fructose corn syrup in it  . I just discovered all my other soups had MSG and I try to avoid that stuff too...so oh well.

Anyway--I found the important thing is once you are significantally stepped away from one size and into something smaller--their comes a time when we need to shed our layers and donate some old items and not keep them around. I have found that my pitfall in diets past..I tend to fill up what I own....while i do not have enough to shed the wardrobe just yet--I do have a variety of "skinny" clothes that keep me in line.

And for late night munchies--it must have grown from the ground or I'm not going to eat it.

I keep chanting---I will NOT trade what I want NOW for what I REALLY want. Since I am temporarily quasi-sidelined...I MUST avoid those "want now" items.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, there are days that I still wear my maternity pants and the baby was born 4 months ago. Just do your best, that's all I can do. I'm working on my 5th day of Atkins, and I have to take it,literally, one bite at a time.

Well, Friday night I actually had to buy a size bigger in jeans. It really, REALLY sucks. I can not begin to tell you how angry I am at myself.

I know a lot of it is stress and the fact that there IS a lot of snacks around. I'm just gonna have to work harder at this. Tonight, I'm gonna go to the store and get a bunch of veggies for work.

Trust me I am there with you. I lost 22 pounds two years ago on atkins. Kept it off for a year and last year I gained 32 back. I can not seem to get back on the diet and am really mad at myself. It is so easy to gain weight and I am out of control. I am planning our October Disney trip and all I can focus on is the food and my priority seatings. On a better note. I am excersising more. I saw this board and I did 1320 minutes last month. I am hoping to beat the time this month. My pnts are still quite tight.

yup mine still dont fit! I only have two pairs of strechies.......
I wont give in though and buy a bigger pair. I am being stubborn! lol
by next week they'll fit!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately I too am in the pants don't fit club. I have yet to get back into my pre-pregnancy clothes and my dd is now 18 months. :( This is pathetic I'm trying to up exercise. Going from couch potato to 1000 minutes a month is hard. I have been working on this since Sept. I am trying even harder this month. As I sit here and eat Sweettarts. :rotfl2:
