My Pal Mickey going off during shows?

During my last trip, I bought a my Pal Mickey this past February. During the hall off the presidents performance which was around the time of the parade, and he was trying to remind me to get a spot to go see the parade. My Pal Mickey kept going off saying "Oh Boy" and vibrating and it was a couple of times I finally had to get up in the middle of the performance. It was so embaressing I thought that they had it set up so he wouldn't go off during shows. I guess I was wrong and surprised. Has anyone else had problems?

My pal Mickey has done the same exact thing except on PotC. So now whenever I go on a ride I just turn him off.

It's just with the newer My Pal Mickey you've got to take off his tuxedo and it's a pain to switch him on and off.

Ohh I have the old Pal Mickey. Like the first one. Not really sure how they differ

Mine never went off on any rides or shows.

A side note, we were touring minnie and mickey's houses during a rain storm, so Pal Mickey was in my backpack (ussually my son was carring him). He didnt' stop vibrating the entire time we were in those houses. I was so confussed at first, what would be shaking my bag like that.

DO have them ON when you ride the Haunted Mansion. They have him set to talk and it's so loud in the HM that you have to hold him to your ear to hear him. He won't disturb other guests. The first time I ignored him the 2nd time I listened and it's cute.

I've never had either version giggle in POTC but if I was worried he would disturb guests I'd turn him off too. I didn't think he was suppose to talk in areas he is not allowed to talk in. Must be a sensor too close the the Presidents and how weird it's going off on POTC. Strange

I love his sayings around and in the HM though

ETA: both versions have the same 1 saying inside. I don't recall how many for outside if it's only 2 or more. But I'm pretty sure it's 2 for outsite one of which is a joke but it's cute and I love the HM
