Sometimes I get the feeling MM+ was more about WDW having an idea how crowded a particular park/restaurant will be on w specific day so they can cut labor without reducing guest satisfaction. Eve FP+ gives them an idea of what section of a park will have more guests at any particular time.
They can really project park earnings knowing the number of people already on ADR's and FP+.
Initially, I think it was a crowd management tool...but so may people started "missing" ADR's they decided to charge cancellation fee's ......at that point it went beyond guest convenience and more into labor management. At this point , most of MM+ feel like labor management than anything else.....
Do I like ADR's...hell yeh...we are foodies and love particular places....has the early planning gotten a bit out of control and unpredictable? Maybe.
