My opinion on the UN report (so far)

I think that any allies we have on the fence will now jump ship based on the UN's report. They're buying Saddam's "decree" and are saying that there's no proof that Iraq had advance notice of inspeciton sites so they could move weapons. Powell didn't prove his case, basically.

What do you think?

I wouldn't doubt any or all jumping ship. They will take any opportunity to let us go it alone!

They may decide to jump ship, but I won't. Nobody is paying attention to the fact that Resolution 1441 is about Saddam disarming - not inspections. And as far as the inspections go, doesn't anyone think it's a little fishy that the Iraqi scientists are recording their "private" interviews? Couldn't be that Saddam wants to hear these "private" interviews he's allowing could it?

It isn't OUR JOB to tell the inspectors where to look for weapons. It is Saddam's job to disarm. You will look for anything to support a despot. That is really sad! Believe me, we will find the weapons when we bomb the H*LL out of Iraq!

That's right Dawn. It doesn't get any clearer than that. Saddam disarms, or he's going to be forced to disarm. He's been given way more than enough time. The inspectors aren't there to play hide and seek with weapons. Until Saddam shows them the weapons (all the weapons) or can prove they've been destroyed, he's not playing the game the way the rules are written.
