My officiant won't reply!

I contacted an officiant last fall. Since I finally started filling out my planning worksheets, I wanted to make sure he can still perform the ceremony. I have called and emailed and i get no response! Should I just take it that he doesn't want to do it and just book someone else? Has anybody else had this problem?

I swear I am having more and more problems as my planning progresses!

I did receive an email and a phone call from the officiant. However, he told me he doesn't officially book anything until 6 months out from the date of the wedding. I hope that helps.

I went with Pastor Sig. He said that he penciled me in but I just wanted make sure. I wanted to start filling out the planning sheets and they want to know who the officiant is. He hasn't returned any calls or emails. So now I feel like I am stuck

Is he on Disney's preferred list? How long has it been since you contacted him? For me if I were in your situation (others may not agree), I would move on and choose someone else. His response is either an indicator of his schedule being too busy, unforseen circumstance/emergency or he literally isn't returning your call. I hate waiting and if you feel you have given him ample time to respond and he hasn't move on. My fear would be he would operate this way when it gets closer to the wedding date. Just my 2 cents.

Yes he is on the preferred list. The strange thing is, when I first contacted him, his response was much quicker than the others that are on the list...
