Well...our trip has come and gone before I knew it. I must say it was one of the best times I've had at Disney.
We stayed at Pop. Used ME....no problems at all. We waited about 15 mins to board the bus.
Checked in to Pop around 1:30 or 2. Our room was ready with our requests granted (80's building, 1st floor, pool view).
We purchased hopper tickets.
(Monday) We started off at Epcot. It was a lot busier than Oct. 2007! We got a FP for test track and went on Mission space green team. We did get to ride a Segway. That was too cool =) Most lines weren't too long of a wait. It did pour on us for about an hour. Test track was closed due to the rain =/ We headed over the MK for EMH. We rode stitches great escape, space mountain and the tea cups before heading back to pop.
We returned to Pop to find our luggage delivered and water from costco in our room. A cast member put balloons and a b-day card on my bed because I noted on my faxed request we were celebrating my b-day.
(Tuesday) WE started at Hollywood Studios. We got in line for RNR first. It said only a 10 min wait. The ride had tech. difficulties and we ended up waiting 40 mins! No cast member offered to let us come back in the fast pass line later (they did that on finding nemo last year when it had tech. diff.). Guest relations gave us a no time frame FP for a second ride. After we rode RNR we rode TOT. About a 20 min wait. Then we headed over to TSM...it said an hour wait. We waited about 45 mins and they closed the ride down. No more fast passes were available and a CM explained they could not offer to let us back in the line when the ride works again. We saw Voyage of Little Mermaid and figured we were check on the wait time for TSM after. Now the wait was at 80 mins! We hopped over to Epcot to get on test track and walk around the world before dinner at Hollywood and Vine (fantasmic package). I personally thought the food was great. Our waiter could have been a bit more attentive as far as clearing our plates. We arrived at fantasmic 30 mins before the show and was able to sit in the 3rd row pretty close to the middle.
(Wed.) We went to MK. It was super crowded. We decided to ride the outdoor rides and head over to AK to ride the outdoor rides there since it was suppose to rain on Thurs. We rode EE first at AK. I wasn't too impressed with the coaster. It didn't have any big drops (mostly turns). I don't care for upside down but a big drop would have been nice. We then rode the safari...around 1pm. We saw several animals including 2 lions =) We also rode the express train. We went over to the petting zoo. Just an FYI...the rare domesticated animals are goats and sheep! I would have never wasted my time going to the petting zoo if knew that. I can pet goats and sheep here in NY, lol. After that we headed back over to MK to ride the indoor rides. After the rides we headed to DTD for dinner at Planet Hollywood since we had a $15 coupon from AAA plus a free souvenier coupon. The free souvenier was a PH keychain.
(Thursday) We headed to AK for rope drop. Did the last of the rides we wanted to do. Festival of the Lion King was AWESOME! I wish I would have seen the show before this year. We sat in the second row and the characters were very interactive =) Just an FYI from my 2007 trip. Finding Nemo the musical for my mother and I was a bit boring for us. We both fell asleep, lol. It is a great place to cool off though. After we were done we headed back to Pop for a swim, the pool was crowded. We then headed off to tour some of the fancier resorts. Our first stop was Wilderness Lodge. All I can say is wow, that is one beautiful place. We then headed over to the Poly (I've stayed there before but wanted to show my bestfriend). There was a mob coming from the laua cove. Then over to the Contemporary for a ADR surprise dinner at Chef Mickey's =) Niether my friend or myself had ever eaten there so she was super surprised and I was super happy to get to eat there. The food was great! I had my b-day button on, of coarse. The waiter brought over a place mat with the fab 5's autographs. We did get the Chef Mickey pics they took. I ordered a Pina Colava, it was good but could have definately been stronger. Our waiter was great. The characters were great =) I loved swinging my napkin in the air to the celebration song, lol.
(Friday) We went for breakfast at 1900 park fair in the Grand Floridian. I'm not much of a breakfast person but the food was really good. I did have some icecream as part of my breakfast though, lol. The mickey waffles were probably my favorite. Our waitress was OK...I did get my b-day crown with a b-day song. The characters there were Alice, Mary Poppins, Mad Hatter, Tigger & Pooh. The mad hatter was my favorite...he was so in character. After that we headed over the MK for some last minute shopping and a ride on Buzz Lightyear. The line was about 20 mins. We had to be back at Pop by 1:15 to get our bags and board the ME.

Some things I thought I would mention; I mentioned it already above I apologize.
If you plan on going on Toy Story Mania get a fast pass right away. We weren't able to get on =/
If you have the money to do it, book a character meal. We had two. It saved us so much time. Rather than standing in line to meet characters they come to your table for pics and autographs =)
The fantasmic dinner package to us was well worth it. We got a buffet meal and didn't have to wait in line for the show.
Make a list in priority of the rides everyone wants to go on.
If you ordered a personalized map dont' bring it to the parks. They are huge. I noticed several families struggling with them.
Dont' forget to get a button for whatever you are celebrating.
Utilize the boats, they aren't as crowded.
The hopper pass is worth the money. I will always get a hopper!

One more thing I thought I would list. The characters we met in the parks were as followed: Mr and Mrs. Incredible, Anastasia, Drizella, Evil Step Mother, Flik, Rafiki, Bahloo, Meeko, Lilo, Stitch, some bear I don't know the name of, Ariel, Donald, and a gorilla I dont' know the name of.
Characters at the meals were as followed: Mickey, minnie, pluto, goofy, donald, mary poppins, mad hatter, alice, pooh and tigger.

Wow, that was a long post, lol.

Wow, what an awesome report:) I like the way you ended with tips you feel are important:)
