She'll be on tonight. She is doing a skit with Steve Martin. I love Steve Martin. I think he is a genius. I wish I could have gone to NY to watch the show live. I'll have to take a nap so I can stay up that late

Snoopy, she got the gig from auditioning for a Holloween special. They held her over to do the Christmas special instead. I never knew thry taped a day in advance so I just thought it would be on tonight but it is on Monday. Ooppss!!

gemmie: I love Dave and I'm glad I didn't miss the show. Was out late last night. As far as taping goes I don't know he's changed his schedule around because of the baby or not. BUt in a normal week(pre-baby anyhow) Dave tapes shows Monday thru Thursday. With a double taping on Thursday-2nd taping being for Friday's show.
They may change this for the week of Christmas, but as far as i know that schedule is pretty regular. There should be clues in his monoloque if he taped ahead.

Maureen is right. This year the regular schedule is for Dave to same day tape the shows and to do two on Thursday so he has Friday off. Christmas Week they sometimes air repeats so it's good to hear he at least pre-taped a show for Monday. He has a place out West (Montana?) that he might be traveling to for Christmas.

I'll try to keep an eye out tomorrow night. They've been promoing Steve Martin all weekend.
