My New Toy!!!

I got a little something over the weekend last weekend that I am just a little excited about...

I have been longing for this camera for quite some time. And I was finally able to get it. It will be quite handy with the two weddings I have coming up in the next couple of months!

Anyway, I haven't been around here a lot lately, but I'm trying to get over here more often. And hopefully this addition to my collection will give me more material to discuss!

You betcha! Well, I got the fisheye in April and took it on our May trip, and it is pretty cool on the 30D, but it is REALLY cool on the 5D! That was the first lens I put on it when I got the camera out of the box. It's very nice!

All I've done so far is mess around for a few minutes because I had to work on some previously taken photos this week. Here's the first shot I took, just to see how fishy it would be...

And a shot of the cat, who was not really cooperating ...

I've been oogling over this camera for quite some time now. Although I'd miss a few features on the 30D, sometimes you just have to make a sacrifice (or, could I have two dSLR cameras? now, that would be the icing)

But, alas, I need lenses before I can jump to something like this. No EF-S for me.

I now have three dSLR's! But I do use them to shoot weddings, so I suppose that makes a difference since the weddings from this summer are helping finance this purchase.

I had to build up the lens collection a bit before I felt like I could spring for this too. My lens list...
