I think it already has too much content. Quality over quantity. It's better to show a handful of your very best images on your site that stand on their own rather than to put even one that you need to defend. That's portfolio building 101.

The rule of thumb is 8-12 of your best for each style category.

The too much content critique has been taken on board. I now have two small conflicting sites; I don't know which I prefer to have online so for the next few days I shall be canvassing opinions.

As I said, both are pretty similar with a few differences. All images are linked to Deviant Art for more detailed sizes.

I personally like the 2nd site more than the first one. I also think you should name the galleries.

Landscape, Beach, etc. instead of just Gallery 1, Gallery 2 etc..

I really want to like the first one because there's concept there just waiting to come out. The infinity sign, life being fluid... but it feels like an incomplete thought as is and the overall design really doesn't work for me.

I do like the simple, clean, straight up design of the second one. I also agree that I'd name the galleries.

Thanks for the advise guys! I like the idea of telling a story and of course the idea about splitting the galleries into groups. Will get on it right now
