My new Pal Mickey is going haywire!! I'm so sad.

I just got it about a week ago!! I don't think I still have the receipt anymore. I bought it at POFQ. It is not talking anymore. I just put new batteries in him. It was working fine. Then now.. it's vibrating and it's just making a "knocking" noise!! OH NO!! This is so upseting! It's my Pal Mickey.. well.. it's actually my daughter's but we're sharing him.

Do you think if I go back to POFQ next week and show them that I have stayed there and I bought it from them, do you think they will give me another one? I mean where in the world can I get Pal Mickey except WDW.

What should I do? I am so heart broken. I want him in a good condition.. I hate to see Mickey like that. I love Mickey!

Any advice for me. Thanks....

I am sure that they won't even ask you ahen or where you got it or ask for a receipt. I once brought a pin back that had broken to the gift shop at TOT. I just asked if they still had this pin for sale as I wanted to replace the one that broke and they just gave me a new one.

I can relate to this type of question from my last trip. We bought one of the Buzz Lightyear spinning lights things that kids have to have for my son about 3 years ago. We were at EPCOT back in June and we asked a CM how to open it to change the battery. He just said, "Give it to me, I will take care of it." So we gave it to him and he gave us a brand new one. I am sure they will fix the problem for you.

I have the "old" Pal and I have had him replaced 4x for the same reason!!! Just take him to any of the shops and they'll give you a new one. We haven't taken the last one back to the parks since we got him, and so far he's still tickin'...

Sorry we never got to run into each other in WDW. Wasn't it mobbed???

Thanks guys!! I really hope that they will replace it for me or at least fix him. I mean this is their product and they should stand behind their products. It's not just it costed me $65. But to see my Pal Mickey in that condition is just making upset. I guess I got attached to him when we were walking in the parks. He is lying on my son's bed right now.

I have the first Pal Mickey and he is doing just fine.

Oh..okay. I'm just used to seeing a smiley face when someone is joking. I'm gald you're just joking. My intention is to just have him in a good condition that all.

Yes.. the parks were crazy!! And I'm sure it still is. I got back a week ago and planning to go again next week. Call me crazy but I am just taking advantage of their summer off from school and the great air fare rate I got.
I hope you had a great time despite of the heat and the crowds.

We had a great time too! We took more breaks than I expected because it was so hot and crowded. Thankfully there's plenty of ways to cool off there!
