And boy am I happy with them. They have grown remarkably well. The Voluptuous is a color that is hard to define. It is a vivid red-pink-fushia hybred tea. The color is intense. It is my favorite. The other two are the Disneyland and the Tuscan Sun. Both are also gorgeous!!!! I just had to share them with you.

Beautiful! For 20 years I grew J&P Roses. Loved them.

A few years ago I dug them up and gave them away. They became so much work, spraying, pruning, japanese beetle and the black spot that is a problem here in Mass. because of the spring dampness. I'm tempted to try again when I'm at the nurseries, I do love them. One of my favorite flowers.

Beautiful roses. I have never had any luck with t hem, but the pictures I see on t he board make me want to give them a try.

Kudos to you! I've never had luck with roses - it's either a knack you have or you don't - there really is no in-between! (I even killed my Disneyland rose ! :( )

I really like the color on the first one - very nice!

If I don't keep on top of them with Orthenex, I would be overrun with blackspot. No problem with beetles, but the Orthenex takes care of the aphids.

Beautiful! I love Voluptuous the color is so vivid. Your Disneyland is great too so big and healthy for the first season! This season has been good for my roses also. Still not thrilled with all of my teas. They are so difficult.
Keep posting pics we love it!

Beautiful!!

I've never had any luck with J&P roses. My yard is pretty much zone 4 and they are just not hardy enough to make it here. I have a Darwinian attitude to gardening, It's strictly survival of the fittest! Anything that needs pampering and fussing to survive; doesn't. I go for rugosa hybrids, explorer roses and anything that claims hardiness in the first sentence of the description.

Nice. :flower: I guess the voluptuous are called that for a reason - they really are! :)
