I so agree, I got my last Tuesday and I love, love, love it. Love to hear what everyone else is getting from the apps store - so far I've gotten:

phonesaber - silly but fun
jawbreaker - old time came that I've always enjoyed
Arcade - hoping it will keep my friends kids occupied when we go out cro-mag rally - just downloaded today but so far I like it - but I'm not so good
showtimes - very handy

Still trying to determine the best currency converter and tip app to download

A friend recommended Pandora but haven't tried it yet.

Well, right now, "app envy!!"

Just bought it about 2 hours ago!!! First web surfing I tried was here, of course... Watched that battery level go down down down and thought of wildeoscar's wild(e) Universal night and his battery almost letting him down...

Now on to entering my phone contacts....

Love Recorder....it's go an introductory price of .99 but it's a cool tool. You can record anything from seconds to hours. You can also email voice notes. John and I tried it with a 30 second voice message.

it's envy really! I spent time while on contract with my Nokia N95 telling myself iphones weren't that great, but since getting the 3g I'm a total convert!
Not to mention it introduced me to the podcast!!

Plus 95% of posts I make on the DIS are from it

and i have phone envy...

they don't sell the iphone where i live ....not any iphone....not the old version....not the new version...

and no one knows when it will be sold here...

none of the phone companies here are willing to agree to apple's terms (a % of all usage must be paid to apple)...

so i will continue to have iphone envy for the near and distant future it would seem...

I do wish the boards were a little more mobile friendly!

The PMs are especially harsh on mobile, since it quoted the last PM.

Is there a shortcut for deleting a text cells info when responding to PMs?

Not ment as a gripe, just an idosync when posting mobily

I'm really glad you added the last part because my first response when I read your post was, "I HATE YOU, YOU SCUMBAG!!!" And that isn't really at all how I feel (except when I am most jealous!)

my 14 to DD came for a visit last week. When I pulled out my iPhone she was very jealous. He he he. She was really mad when I wouldn't let her touch it. But nobody touches iPhone. Nobody. I know someones going to break it. On purpose.

DE did want a LG Dare. But they seem weak in comparison. I did convince her put her b-day towards a touch. Until she has a job, I think it's ridiculous for a teen to have such a pricy phone and phone plan.

Of course her mother does like her daughter to keep up with her friends with crazy parents that buy their daughters smart phones. Holy guacamole.
