My new favorite restaurant is...

Teppan Edo! Just back today from 8 days on DxDP and we ate at many places but we tried Teppan Edo for the 1st time and it was the best meal of the trip. Amazing staff, entertaining chef and I recommend this restaurant to everyone! Food was great! I had the scallops and ate every bit of it.
Teppan Edo booted 50's down to my 2nd favorite.

This is so great to hear! I've always heard great reviews about Teppan Edo so I decided to make ADRs for my birthday in June and I'm soo glad I did!

I'm always so surprised when people say that it's no better than a hibachi at home. My family always gets the same thing - two orders of filet and two of scallops. We then combine them - so everyone gets some of each. Yummy

I have always wanted to try the scallops. DH and I always get 1 shrimp and 1 filet and share. I am not sure which to give up! The kiddos get 1 chicken and 1 shrimp and love them both. DS6 even eats all the veggies there!

This is great news, we have a lunch there in June-specially planned for my 15 year old son who has wanted to go there for many years.

My dh ate there in Feb and loved it. It's one of the few places I have never eaten at in my many trips to WDW. So, I booked it for our August trip. My dd, 16, is not very adventurous when it comes to eating, so it's going to be fun to watch her. But, I figure they have both chicken and filet on the menu, so she can order one of those and deal with it.
I'm really looking forward to eating there. Thanks for the review!!

We have a fantastic Japanese Steakhouse minutes from our home yet we still go to Teppan Edo and love the place.

Our vacation usually falls around DS (adult) birthday. He usually asks to eat at Teppan Edo for his birthday.

We have an incredible, non chain Japanese steakhouse up the street from us that honestly is better.

However, we have had 2 really wonderful meals there and the Scallops are great.

We will be eating there on our last evening (Aug 28). THis will be our 1st time trying it. My DD and mysef are not a seafood eater, but I saw there is steak and chicken. Although my DH and DS are seafood eaters. We are looking forward to this meal. BTW we will be celebrating my DS birthday too.
