My new favorite Resort-The Contemporary!!

Just back from 6 fun-filled days in WDW and at The Contemporary. I have to say I am spoiled now and will probably never stay anywhere else again! Our room was fantasti-7th floor, Tower facing the MK. It was heavenly every night to have the curtains opened and see Cinderella Castle, Space Mountain, The Monorail and esp the fireworks!!! We saw the P&PP Fireworks from our balcony and it was awesome!
The room was so nice-my family loved everything about the room! Comfy beds & the bathroom was quite large! Liked the seperate toilet stall! Made getting ready in the mornings easier!

Mousekeeping was great, too. The were just fantastic. The CR is so quiet, I never heard my neighbors or even the Monorial coming through! We liked all of the shops and we ate at Concourse Steakhouse and used Tempo Grab-N-Go every morning for a quick breakfast!

My favorite thing about the CR was being able to walk to and from the MK. It was so nice to leisurely stroll back afer watching Spectro and Wishes. That was my favorite part. The CMs at the CR were so nice-everyone had a smile and was so helpful everyday.
We watched the Electrical Water Parade from the dock every night and swam in the bay pool a few afternoons! How nice it was to relax by the pool!
Transportation was SO efficient. We walked to and from the MK, Monorail to and from Epcot was very fast and nice. The busses were always waiting for us-we never had to wait for a bus! Transportation was an A+++!!
All in all, I am SPOILED now. I called my husband the first night (this was a girls only trip) & told him I am never staying anywhere else again but The Contemporary. It is officially now my favorite resort!

Thats awesome. I actually booked a garden wing room, but was upgraded to a MK view room. It was awesome. I'm SO spoiled too! The CR is just extremely convenient, the CM's are great, the rooms are huge and nice, and the MK walkway. I'm probably going to be going back again too!

Congrats Mollygirl13! I have only stayed there once, when I was 6. Although 3 decades have past, I still have fond memories. Now, I just have to find an elementary school teaching job that pays a 6 digit income so I can stay there again.

Glad to hear you loved the Contemporary, we are hoping to stay there on our next trip. About how long of a walk is it to Magic Kingdom? This sounds great, especially after Wishes, its crazy trying to get a bus back to your resort.

We will be staying there in September (our first time at the CR)....I did alot of research and this was the best delux for the money IMO--- I had always wanted to stay ther but could never afford it UNTILL today when I booked it over the phone cause they offered me a great package!

Contemporary got another one! That walk is great and not having to deal with the monorail crowd when the Kingdom closes. I'm glad that you had a great trip!
