The Low Fat Chicken Chowmein in the freezer section. It takes 5 minutes to cook the whole meal. I need two bags for my family of 4 or I saute' extra firm TJ's tofu in olive oil and teriyaki sauce and add to one bag of prepared Chowmein. I think the bag (vegys, sliced chicken breast and noodles) is less then $4.00. YUM

Anything else I should be trying? I LOVE Trader Joes.

I don't think I have purchased anything from Trader Joe's that I have not liked! My favorites are the Artisan breads dipped in their garlic oil. The most recent foods I bought there were frozen coconut shrimp and some mushroom turnovers...they were sooo good! Had those with a nice chardonnay as appetizers, oh I love Trader Joe's! :goodvibes

I like the Mandarin Chicken that is in the bag in the frozen section. It is very good and is less than $4.00 a bag (we use 2 bags also). But, it is NOT, I repeat, NOT low-fat!

They have the best Teriyaki sauce there. All I do is throw some chicken in a pan, add some of this sauce, and cook it up. Throw in some brown rice and steamed broccolli, and you have a quick and healthy meal!

My new favorite is their Thai Red Curry. It's $2.49 for a bottle and all you have to do is saute some veggies and meat or tofu, add the sauce and serve over jasmine rice. Very yummy and really easy! We also like their frozen lettuce wrap chicken mixture.

Heck with dinners...

The very best thing at TJs is the chocolate peanut butter cups (think Reese's in a tub) that are in a large container. Its in the cookie/truffle aisle.

OMG! They are soo good!

I've been getting their greek pizza's lately -- to die for!

I love Trader Joes. :goodvibes

I like the Jasmine Rice in the freezer section. Throw the bag in the micro and in 3 minutes you have rice. Very good with the Mandarin Chicken.

Also love their BIG Ginger Crisp cookies in the bakery section.

I seoncd the Mandarin Chix and Jasmine Rice. Very Yummy! Also love their lowfat apricot loaf (for breakfast), very moist, doesn't taste lowfat. And their Cioppino sauce mix (in a jar) with their frozen seafood medley. Add fresh garlic bread and we have a heavenly meal. They have a pre-made salad I adore, it has spinach, bleu cheese, candied walnuts, cranberries and something else. I add some chicken and make a meal.

Don't even get me started on their wine! I have bought a few cases there!

I'm going to have to print out this page and head there this weekend. I haven't tried any of the things you've suggested. Can't wait for dinners next week.

One of the things we tried and didn't care for was the teriyaki chicken (frozen section). My girls favorite thing in the store is the samples!!!

TJ's where do I begin. I LOVE the new twice baked cookies. They are like biscotti only better. Then again there is the cranberry walnut tart made with like forty pounds of butter. They have the best frozen desserts. I am on a diet so I guess the Cat Cookies are life savers.
Coconut Shrimp mmmmmmmmmm...

Pretty much everything is good and pretty much most of it is a name brand. My husband does business to some extent with them and they are quite stringent with their requirements.

Did anyone ever wonder what "Joe" looks like? I picture Jack Sparrow in a Hawiian shirt.
