Thanks everyone. I got the Istikbal sofa bed from a local furniture that was having a moving sale. I paid $599. I had considered everything from daybeds to futons to murphy beds to panel beds to regular sleep sofa. I didn't have much room lenghtwise on the wall. This fit the bill. But I would have preferred getting a full size bed if I could have.
Anyway, this Istikbal sofa bed is the Francesca model. I've googled it...there is an article & looks like available online for less than I paid. Assembles VERY easy. 4 long screws with wing nuts. It's just HEAVY. It had to come up to our 3rd floor level & it wanted to keep opening.
Mom slept on it this weekend. Very comfortable she said. Very firm for her bad back. Just lift seat, click, & lower it again to become bed. Very easy.
I know the color seems odd in the photo, but it really is like a nuetral brown/tan. Piping has a hint of olive green in it - but not much. In real life it goes more with the blue carpet we have than it looks like in the photo.
Ohhhhhhh - You've inspired me to post some photos of my room. It is a Disney/Travel theme. I've never posted photos, so it may take me some time to get that figured out...
These photos focus on the decorative aspects of my scraproom/office/workshop. It is a travel/Disney theme. I always have 2 large tables set up that could accomodate 4 croppers. I can smush another in if I am only haveing 6 at a workshop. Overflow goes to dining room & living room which are nearby.
My BEST idea EVER. Now I can always find my order forms, catalogs, bags & business cards. These holders remove to set on tables for when I have an Open House, etc.
