:wave2: I actually HAVE been to Disney World before, but I am considering this time my very first time. I'm going with my DH and my DD1 to start fresh. I went in 1990 for my 6th birthday and I don't think I had a very good time. This trip was a birthday gift from my mom, but when we got there, I asked her "So where's my birthday gift?" She says "You're in it!" I say "Oh"....Geez....

Originally, we weren't going to go because we didn't have the money to, but my aunt was going, so my mom said "Why not...." AK was not there at the time and we stayed offsite at a timeshare. We got 3 day passes to go to 1 park a day. My mom only had like $500 and she had to pay my aunt like $160 for her part in the timeshare. She also had to buy my ticket which was like $89 and hers which was like $106. She also spent some money grocery shopping.....so you see we didn't have much money left to have fun with. We never ate at a restaurant and I never got a souvenir :sad2: (matter fact, I think I got a keychain, even though I didn't carry keys). I DO thank my mom for taking me at all but the trip was pretty much so-so and we spent the rest of our 5 day stay in the timeshare, swimming in the pool. We never had the money to go again.......

I don't really think that I got to enjoy the true Disney magic.....So I made a promise to myself that this time will be the best time ever. I get to enjoy it with the 2 loves of my life, DH and DD1. We're definitely not broke this time, we're staying longer, staying at CSR, we got our ADR's and we spare no expense. I am truly happy now and this Disney vacation is just what we needed after a stressful year and a half......... :cheer2:

I just needed to get this off my chest. :thumbsup2 :woohoo:

Hope you have a great vacation.

I love people who are their own fairy godmothers! Way to go! Enjoy!

Congrats! Enjoy your first trip! I loved the look on my dds face when she was a little over one her first time in the MK. Enjoy all magic you will feel. :thumbsup2
