Any advise/wwyd? Purchase direct/resale?

I personally would want some direct points. If you do the 150, you get discounted annual passes, access to lounges, MM— it’s worth it. Plus, there are a lot of resorts you can’t do with resale. We’ve been shocked to find that the last 3 times we’ve used our membership, it’s been at direct only resorts.

Im glad we went with 200 direct points and not the minimum of 150 for the blue card benefits. We are unfortunately staying at a restricted resort more than any other resort (vdh) and so we want to make sure we have enough points to stay when we want and also have the options of riv cfw and future resorts at wdw if thats where wed like to stay

Aah thank you all so much. It sometimes feels like there are so many (hidden) rules and they change all the time.

I get the feeling that buying direct has less and less advantages, would any of you buy direct in this situation?

Just buy resale, I personally wouldn't buy direct just to get a "blue card".

If you only want 25 points, buy AKV direct. Unless your only reasoning for buying 25 points was to get direct benefits and dont actually need the points. If you do actually need 25 buy direct.
