So now we have weird drop offs and cops. It's crazy around here!
Thanks for the update :scratchin it's getting stranger by the minute.
Just keep on the look out :3dglasses and we'll be here when you report back popcorn::

Really I do have a life....

Wow! Awsome update! What the heck could be going on???????

Thanks for the update, glad your doing better today hang in there:hug:

OK, I have some questions, do they drop off the bag every time they come home or just a few times? Is this occurance every day or occasionally? Inquiring minds want to know.

Hmmm? Getting interesting.
Could their be donuts in that bag and the cops stopped by to place their order??

OP, I just wanted to say that I hope you are feeling better today and will quickly recover from your latest flare up. Thank you, even in your pain and suffering, for bringing a little light and fun to other DISers.

Me too,

did you see my reply about the voice to text program?

also did you know that if you hit the space key the screen will scroll one page. At least on my computer it works like that. Just thought it might help.

I'VE GOT IT!!!!

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT'S HAPPENING!!!

It's Grandma in a locked room. She a flesh-eating zombie and this is how they are feeding her!!!

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Maleficent13 He just has to have a perfect lawn. Not one blade of grass is allowed to be out of place. My dh just uses our lawn mower and goes over all the keys. That takes care of them all. We don't end up with any shoots.
OP what you need is one of those devices they market on TV that lets you hear things far away.

if you reply to a thread are you automatically subscribed?

Mikeeee

I don't think so. I've replied to ALOT of threads ;) and if I go to "subscribed threads" it says I have none. :confused3

oooooooooooo I just love me a good watch of some sort!!!
will stand by for updates!!

::yes:: popcorn::

Ooooh, I wish we lived in your neighborhood because my husband would just walk on over and ask them "yo, what's in the bag?".

That's my vote - the direct approach. Until someone mentioned it might be drugs - then I'd mind my own business. But definately get video! Ya might be able to sell it someday to a news station. LOL

Well here's an update...

I'm sorry I didn't update last night, but between the swollen fingers, prednisone and pain pills I couldn't type. I think my steroid shots from yesterday and the prednisone pills kicked in today. I am feeling semi-human again. Lupus sucks. I am lucky though this is the first major flare in 8 years or so.

Last night the cops were there. They pulled in knocked on the door and the 3 men (dad & sons) were in the front yard presenting what I assume were driver's licenses. I assume the mom was not home as she was not in the front yard.

The cop remained there for 20-30 minutes and appeared to write a ticket before leaving. The whole thing was weird. I mean why would the cops just show up and write a ticket? No one was arrested.

DH was gone and I couldn't navigate the front porch steps to sit out there and listen. I couldn't hear from in the house. I did make dd10 open the front windows, but I still couldn't hear.

Someone asked about the drop off. We have seen it happen in the morning and the evening, but on different days. It is seemingly random.

So now we have weird drop offs and cops. It's crazy around here!

Oooooo, things just got interesting!! popcorn::

What a fantastic mystery! Why would the cops go to their house, write them a ticket, and not arrest them? Animal neglect? Unlicensed vehicles? (I'm obviously no expert on criminal activity or breaking the law, so help me out with any sort of activity that would fall into a category like this.) Weird. Keep us updated with the goings on today!

I've been sucked in as well. DH is a police officer so I will ask him why the cops would show up and give a ticket.

Also, OT regarding the car in the house. I HAD to read about that and became embarassed when I saw the state in which all of this was taking place. Gotta love the south.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.

Alright, fess up -- who called the fuzz?! :lmao:

Maybe they thought there were donuts in the bag?!
:rotfl2:

I'm glad the OP is feeling better today also. :goodvibes

popcorn:: popcorn:: popcorn::

I hope this one turns out to be more dramatic than the infamous "how long does it take for a dead body to start smelling" a.k.a."dead man walking" thread. After a massive build up, that one ended up being such a let down at the end!

Whatever, the addition of the cop visit has definitely raised the prospects. What was with having to show I.D. to the police?

It's gotta be drugs or something illegal. The cops must have suspicion of something but no evidence, so they came with some excuse so they could check things out and that's why they checked the licenses.

I bet somebody in the house is on a diet. The others are making runs to Kryspy Cream and throwing them through the window so as to not tip off the dieter... :cool2:

So now it looks like the cops caught on and are watching as well!!! OP, glad you are feeling a little better.

Maybe they have a snake and need to feed it a mouse every few days? Maybe they tried walking the box with the mouse through the house once and it escaped so the mom decided to never again allow a live mouse in the house unless it went directly in the snake's case. :confused3 I know my mom didn't mind my brother having a snake but she hated the thought of a live mouse in our house! So bro had to feed it at night after she went to bed.

As for the cop just looking at ID maybe they were trying to serve papers and wanted to see ID to rule out any of them being the person they were looking for. I know people give my crews fake addresses all the time which has to be a PITA for the people that actually live at the addresses they give us.

I think when you're feeling better your best bet is to hang around outside quite a bit and just happen to have to walk over and ask them a question when they come home and do this. It would be the perfect time to borrow a cup of sugar or to mention you're waiting on a delivery and has it been mistakenly delivered to their house. ;) Then ask them about the bag into the window thing.

There has been a serious lull of activity over there today. I told dh when he called home from work. Dh said, "Maybe they're laying low cause the 5-0 was there yesterday." I swear that man watches way too much COPS. :lmao:

DH is going to mow the grass tonight and pull weeds from my flower beds. I will get out there in a lawn chair with my camera and photo any strange activity, should it occur. :cool1:

Thanks for the well wishes everyone.
