Earl is hilarious! This is one of the few shows I'll watch reruns of. What is scarry is my dh has a buddy that dressed up as Earl for halloween last year...and he is so much like him in real life. And even worse is his brother is just like Randy!

I think that Earl and The Office is the best comedic hour on television in a loooooooooooong time! I love both shows! They are relatively original concepts and have great story lines!

The red ticket machine/Y2K episode is one of my favorites! I was happy that they showed that one last night My favorite scene from the office is when they put all of Dwight's stuff inthe vending machine and then they give him nickels to buy it all back

I think they are both hilarious as well but the office is not an original concept. It is a copy of a British show.

Earl (Jason Lee) was in Chasing Amy, Jersey Girl, and Dogma. He was also the voice of Syndrome in The Incredibles.

Joy (Jaime Pressley) was in Not Another Teen Movie, Joe Dirt, and Tomcats.

My DD's and I love My Name Is Earl! It is the funniest show I've seen in a long time! I even love wathing the reruns. I can't wait till fall for new episodes, except that it will be on opposite Grey's Anatomy.

Yeah, I know! But it is a new idea for American television. There are number of shows that are take-offs of series in other countries. Nothing wrong with that
