Did I miss that you and your friend are going on a Disney trip? You are out of school early. Our kids aren't out until next week.

I wish today was our last day!
The high school usually gets out a day before everyone else but they had to push our finals back a few days. I won't be done till Tuesday

The county next to us is going until Tuesday, too. Because of the two snow days, our high school kids will have to take some of their exams after the break.

She had a program today at school, and I got to hear a replay of it as she sang it from the back seat of the car when I was on the phone with Jill. She was really doing some singing, I tell ya!

School is out for two weeks!
I plan to milk it for all it's worth - whether partying with my family, seeing friends, or just enjoying the peace and quiet of home.

I stopped on the way home from school today to do a little shopping. I parked the car at one store and went in several along the row. I didn't think about buying anything big until I happened upon something that just hit me that I needed to get the girls. It was too big to carry, so I had to take the Target buggy all the way to the car which was way far out and down in the parking lot. And it was cold. As I was winding my way between cars trying to find the shortest route back to the Target buggy return, someone called my name. There were two church friends going into the store I had first gone in. One said this was her first night to Christmas shop. God will need to bless her, because it is a madhouse out there. The lines at Kohl's were way long. The parking lot is dangerous. I heard the joybells several times, or maybe it was the car horns honking at each other. I am glad to be finished.

Anyway, I made it to my warm home, and I am in for the night and glad to be that way. I plan to warm up with pictures of the last day of the summer trip.

I didn't notice the fuzz on this shirt when I was taking it, but it is bugging me now.

Why, yes, we have been having fun all along, as a matter of fact.

Thank you for posting your shopping pics. Since I will be going next year, I have lots to think and drool about buying!!!! I loved the ice trays, the salt and pepper shaker set, the hot pads, the apron... well just about everything. I need to find a tree topper for my Disney only tree.
Our kids don't get out of school until the 22nd, but they go back on the same day you will. We had a late start to the school year, so I believe that they cut our Christmas vaca short by a couple of days. Oh well, the kids get bored anyway.

This Magic Kingdom morning was for shopping and getting that last cinnamon roll, not so much for riding. More for just soaking in the magical atmosphere to take back home with us. I believe our big goal was to see Ariel and Eric together, if I recall correctly.

I am really not sure what the others were doing while I was taking the following pictures. They might have gone to ride Big Thunder one more time, but I really can't remember. I have to take better notes.

Anyway, if I did or didn't have Bella, here are the pictures from what I/we did.

I think it was while we were waiting for Ariel and Eric that Jill offered to go over and get the J picture for my alphabet, as I did not have that one yet.

She knew I could barely walk, and she didn't want my game to be 'J'-less.

I don't have pictures of Ariel and Eric, so I must have done video. Maybe Jill can find that between dance recitals, cupcake making, Angel Tree shopping, gift wrapping, house cleaning, and whatever else it is she is doing with her idle time these days.
