My Mum won't use an elevator - HELP!

Myself DH, DD, DS are staying at the Swan in Oct, we are also taking my parents.
My mum will not use an elevator (lift as we brits call them!) and I really would appreciate any advice regarding room allocation. Does the Swan have an accessable staircase? Are there rooms on the 2nd or 3rd level? (she won't be able to manage too many flights of stairs).

Please help.

PS - I don't think the Tower of Terror will be on her to do list!

I was on the 2nd floor of the Swan (sorry I cant remember the room #) but there were stairs near by. Make sure you request a lower floor and explain why so they note the reservation. Have a great trip.

I know you can walk up a staircase to the 4th floor at the Dolphin or you can stay in a guestroom on the 3rd floor (which is lobby level) at the Dolphin.

You would be surprised how often this happens. There are times when Orthodox Jews stay at the resort and because of religious beliefs, will not use electronic devices during their sabbath or holy day. I think it is some type of a "penace" for them.

We have put those guests on either the 3rd or 4th floor and changed the lock on their guestroom door to a hard key rather than an electronic key card.

I would call the hotel and have them note that you do not want to take an elevator, don't worry, it is not as obsure as you might think!

Thanks for replying. I will phone hotel about 4 weeks before we go, from what I understand room allocation is done a few days before arrival.

I wouldn't wait to have them note the request on your reservation. I would do it now and then call a few weeks before your trip to remind them.

Hi: I would tell them to note that is for medical reasons. I cannot take elevators or be on a high floor, as the motion in the elevator causes me to get a migraine. As does looking at scenery for a high spot, I get the dizzy factor then the migraine begins.
