My neurologist called me to say I can TEMPORARILY stop giving myself injections of Avonex until my next appointment in July, because my MRI looked great!
Of course, anyone that knows MS well will tell you the MRI doesn't always mean alot. You can have a zillion lesions in your brain that won't show up anywhere, until the (gasp) autopsy!
And I'm not planning to go that route anytime soon.
But not having to give myself a shot every week (that makes me sick as a dog) is such a relief. Like a little vacation to myself.
