I hardly expect you to remember us but my fiance and I (aka Gus & Chasity) met you at the Mega Mouse Meet. We spent some time talking about our camera's and the Dis. Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and it was nice meeting you.

Wow, I recognize way more people! This is the second year in a row
I couldn't attend. It was nice to see many familiar faces. It's also quite
scary that I heard the very podcast of Lou and Nathan interviewing Dave
at PodFest, and now I see the pic of it. Very cool.

Well, no matter how much I'd love to I'm not sure we can make it every year. However, since we are on the west coast every other year is more likely. We're planning on going back in May for SWW and I'd really like to make it out for the Magic Meet in July for a few days but we'll see how the budget looks. Are you going?

I'm planning on Mousefest 2007 already! But no other trips are in my plans for 1007, unless I hit a nice juicy lottery jackpot.

Mousefest 2005 and 2006 were short trips for me, and I didn't have enough time to hit the meets and the attractions. But I have some milestones in 2007 that will make it possible for me to extend my Mousefest 2007 trip:

1) In July 2007 I hit my 10-year anniversary with my employer, and my vacation time will increase from 3 weeks per year to 4.

2) In October 2007 I will pay off my vehicle loan, freeing up some extra funds that will enable me to pay for a longer trip.

So with these two milestones in mind, I have decided to make my 2007 trip the longest I have had in many years - 10 days, from Dec 5-14. I'll fly in on Wednesday in the afternoon/evening, spend Thurs-Sun at Mousefest, and take Mon-Fri for attractions, off-site shopping, and visiting the Universal parks.

If the folks at MouseFan Travel can get great rates at Pop Century again next year, I'll be on-site for at least the first half of the trip, though I may move to cheaper off-site digs for the remainder (even with my truck paid off, my fundage will still be limited).
