my mouse freezes only on DIS?

I am having a strange problem which conceptually I don't think can be related to a web site but only seems to happen here. i was wondering if anyone could think of a reason.

My problem is that my mouse freezes and my computer crashes. I cannot close out of it, and nothing comes up as not responding. In the end, I can usually shut down via ctr/alt/del and reboot but sometimes can't even do that.

I keep thinking it is my computer and not DIS but it has happened at least a dozen times and always on DIS. It has never happened to my husband who spends lots of time on sports sites. He thinks I am making it up. I also spend time on kids stuff with my son and just assorted net things and not once has this happened other than on DIS.

Could there be a setting that is causing this?

I will need to know more about your PC operating system and Internet browser.

Version #'s and types should be a good start.

There is a known problem with ME and that version of IE. Just upgrade to IE 6.x (it's free) and those problems should disappear.
