My Mom's Having Surgery P&PD (UPDATE 8/27 3pm CST)

Hey you guys, a request for Prayers and Pixie Dust if you will.

She's having surgery tomorrow, a hernia, and she's really nervous about it, I've never seen her this shaken up. So please say a little prayer if you do, and good thoughts if you can. I'd appreciate. She goes in tomorrow morning for surgery at 8am central time. I'll be there with her. Thanks everyone, from the bottom of my heart, and hers as well.

I'll think good thoughts for her. Tell her not to worry. A woman I work with just had a hernia surgery and she was fine and felt so much better afterwards. She actually just came back to work last week after being out for a few.

Hey all!

Thanks so much for the prayers and good vibes, they were certainly felt. Mom was in surgery for about 3 hours this mornig and did well.

She is diabetic so they are keeping her overnight to keep an eye on her. She's awake now and was pretty doped up...feeling a little pain as I left the hospital.

So I'm off to run soem errands for my mom and dad and then back to the hospital tonight. Thanks again for the thoughts and prayers..you guys are the bestest!
