Dear Mousetripper:

Some videocameras have a feature that allows you to 'freeze' a frame and save it onto a card or chip - maybe yours does? Or you can put your tape into a camera that does and get a photo of the kiss?

I have an inexpensive video camera but it's also a digital camera and you can easily do this with mine.

Okay...forgive my blind self...I totally missed TWO consecutive installments?! I think I just might need glasses!

AWWWWWWWWWW..the little boy! If she brings home a French man one day.... That would be some kind of wonderful for a Disney movie!

I also love that you have a forever memory of her on stage at the Playhouse Disney show! I bet she was in heaven!! What did she say about it after it was all over?!


How many times a day do you guys watch the vacation videos?!

I LOVED your photos with her next to the plants on the ledge of the wall...her hair flying in the wind...her serious face...the plant leaves. Great pictures!

Also, I loved the ones from the parade!

I was getting a bit worried there Jay...I thought either you missed those last few posts or you just found my story a bit boring and dull??? LOL...so glad to know it was the prior one! Hehehe!

Anyway, you really should have seen her with that little guy. They were so cute and adorable. It was just soo precious!!!

She loved Playhouse Disney and didn't want to leave. She was funny because she wanted to go "in" the Bear's house!!!

So glad you loved the pictures! I have some to email you too!! Now....tell me where are YOUR pictures??? You need to email more soon! (now...I guess you could say I am a greedy little urchin too)...hahaha!!!

Thanks for posting on my TR. Yes, my video camera actually has a slot for a memory stick in which to store pictures BUT unfortunately I did not have one of the memory cards with me. Seeing that I was using my Nikon camera for pictures I didn't think about having the card for the video camera!! BAD BAD BAD move on my part!!! Next time I will definitely know better. Oh well.

I don’t know what happened, but I got completely off-track on your TR! I’ve been reading backward (an interesting take on TR-reading, BTW!) and am once more caught up!

Oh my goodness, what can I say about the Wilderness Lodge? It was absolutely stunning, simply gorgeous.

Isn’t the WL amazing? I can’t wait to go back someday!

It wasn’t until I got home and went through all my pictures that I realized I failed to take a great number of pictures that day we spent at MGM Studios. (What was wrong with me that day?? I have no clue…LOL)

Funny – MGM always has the same effect on me. I can’t explain it, but I never come out with as many pics as I do in the other parks.

After pointing the lens at the stage, I turned the camera onto my daughter, who was sitting to my left. Her face was glued to the stage as was the little boy sitting next to her. As I videotaped her from the side, I suddenly realized that the two of them were holding hands. Yes, HOLDING HANDS. Their little backs were pushed up to the seats, their hands interlocked and resting on the bench, their faces staring straight ahead.

Isn't it just precious when liitle ones make friends, I love the way your DD imediately wiped off his kiss, but then gave him a hug.

If your camera has a slot for a memory card, you can put one in now, along with the tape, and as you review the tape, you can press the 'go' button that takes digital pics and freeze the frames you like and it will record on the memory card now. So it might not be too late to get a still photo of the 'Little French Romance" - though the quality might not be as good as your EXCELLENT pictures - just a thought for you, in case you wanted that option.

Your daughter is so beautiful and I'd never know she wasn't your natural child. So what is the story with your adoption? How long have you had her. You guys seem to have a wonderful loving relationship with her and she is extremely lucky to have you guys!

I just had to say I love your trip report! Particularly because your family is exactly like mine! Our daughter is adopted as well and our first ever family vacation is in one month and our daughter is 2 1/2! Can't wait to hear more and I hope my daughter enjoys WDW as much as yours. She is sooooo into Mickey and the gang and also really doesn't care for the princesses. Should be interesting!
