She passed away today after a ten year fight with alzheimers. She passed in her sleep.
Here I am celebrating that my daughter's last scans were clear and my mom passes. The only logical reason that I can find to continue celebrating is her new life in heaven.......bitter sweet , I am happy for my daughter but heartbroken for my mom.....:sad1:

My thoughts and prayers are with you. I know your mom is so much better off where she is now and I know she is thrilled your daughters scans are clear. I lost my mom 2 years ago so I know the pain you are suffering. I don't have to mention to you to take it one day at a time because after all you have been through you already know that. Again you are in my prayers.

Kanga, hugs. I am so sorry to hear this about your Mom, but feel so hopeful that your daughter is doing well.. Take care of you.

I am very sorry for your loss, but I'm so glad your daughter is doing well.

So very sorry on the loss of your mom. But very glad Sonya is doing so well. Hugs to your and your family at such a tough time.

Oh Olga,
You have had such a rough time of it haven't you. Hopefully you can find some peace and strength somewhere.

Sorry for your loss. My Mom had a tough 13 year battle with Alzheimers also. She died 11-06-2001. She was 66 at the onset and 79 when she passed. She didn't speak at all for the last 3 years in a nursing home..
Again, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

I too am very sorry for your loss. It was a blessing that she passed in her sleep after such a long ordeal. Continued prayers for you & your daughter.
It's very good news about your daughter's health. I'm sure your mom is watching over you & your family.

I'm so sorry for your loss of your mom  , yet happy that your daughter's doing well :yay: . Saying prayers for all three of you.

What makes it worse is that tomorrow is my dad's death anniversary.....29 years.....that was always hard on me , this year is worse.

MsKanga I am so sorry for your loss. The timing is especially bittersweet and I am sorry for that. I know you must be so sad about your moms passing yet so elated about your daughters scans. You and your family have fought such a long hard battle. I will keep you all in my prayers. Please give your dd a hug from me.

:grouphug: my thought aand prayers are with you.....

I am so sorry for your loss :flower3: and am sad your good news :) has been overshadowed by the persistence of grief. I would choose to find comfort in the fact that both grandparents now know all and can sit vigil over your Sonja long after your human body drifts off to sleep:grouphug: . Now your little girl is truly never ever alone... I would fine comfort there.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost my mother 6 years ago and I'm still coping with it. She was my best friend. Just know this....It's not good bye but I'll see you soon instead. That is what helped me.

I'm so very sorry for your loss  but very happy to hear Sonya's news!
Wishing you peace and comfort....

Funny you mention that Luvorlando , my mom really never knew about my daughter's cancer , I forbid everyone of telling her anything because I did not know how much she would understand and I knew it would kill her if she did , so we never told her.
I know now that my dad told her when she got to heaven and both are now watching over her , I am convinced of that !
