My Mom is Gone

She was very old, 93 this past Wednesday and not well but still mentally alert and aware. I'm glad she went fast and didn't suffer but it is still so hard.

Please, if you will, some prayers and good thoughts.

I lost my mom when she was 43 and I thought no one in the world could hurt as bad as I did, but I have found that regardless of age, it hurts all the same. While you just have to deal with the pain now, you will get back into life and it gets easier, but never goes away. I was told at the time that losing your mother is the hardest loss to endure and I made it through that, so it was all uphill from there. (Now that I have kids I know that I would absolutely die if I lost one of them, but a mother is right up there).
