My mind is thinking Vacation, vacation, vacation

Am I the only one? As soon as we are done with the holidays I always start htining about my next vacation. Every year I begin thining, let's try somehting other than Disney this year. Then almost every year I end up going to Disney anyways! This year I'm saying we are going to go to Williamsburg. We'll see!

No your not the only one. I'm already working on a Dec 2006 New Years vacation (Dec 26/27-Jan 6, 2007).

I dont have any to work on planning yet, but i leave for one next week--i dont want to do anything but just leave on this trip!

Yep, we were gonna to to Williamsburg about 3 times.....always ended up at WDW instead!

This year, our "vacations" are supposed to be trips to check out colleges (dd is a junior), but I still keep looking at a trip to WDW in May!

I'm right there with you. The end of the holidays would be so depressing to me if I didn't have our WDW trip to look forward to the first week of April.

The end of the holidays means a new year and new vacation time off from work. I, too, always start thinking and planning our new year's vacation schedule at this time. Hubby and I both have 4 plus weeks off, so, will it be WDW this year or not? We always plan at least 1 week of camping in Maine, but that still leaves 3 weeks. I think we can squeeze a trip to see Mickey in there some where.

Im with ya!!! I am out of vacation time and I get more time starting Jan 1.. The sad thing is that I already have all my vacation and personal time already allocated for 2006-- I cant wait till July 2008-- I get another week vacation on top of the 2 weeks and 3 days that I currently get..

I know what you mean about being out of time for 2005. Luckily I learned my lesson on taking to much time so early in the year. I'm doing a few small ones every 4 months or so until my huge Dec 06 vacation. This way I will have lots of time left over in December so I can take the last week of Dec 06 off and the first week of Jan 07 off.

DH has accused me of choosing all of our vacations. For this summer, I've tossed the ball into his court. He needs to tell me where/when & I'll startt he research. He's right - I'm the one on a first-name basis with our AAA travel agent! He's always enjoyed our vacations, but I'll go anywhere he wants (of course, I'm hoping he decides on either WDW or Maui!)
